SYNOX pigments are a selection of inert materials which are insoluble and stable in concrete's alkaline solution.   The stringent quality control of our manufacturing process ensures SYNOX pigments are easily dispersed into properly mixed concrete, and bond strongly into the cement matrix.  

SYNOX pigments are guaranteed UV stable and their non-fading characteristics will retain their original colours for years to come.

High Strength  

SYNOX pigments are made to achieve maximum benefit for end users.  Thorough mixing will ensure maximum effect at minimum dosage.

Up to 10% of SYNOX pigments can be added to cementitious materials without detrimentally effecting  the concrete's properties.  However the most effective dosage range of SYNOX pigments is between 3% and 6%.

Wide Range of Applications

Anything that contains cement can be coloured with SYNOX pigments, including all interior and exterior concrete.  Ready-Mix and Pre-Cast concrete, integrally coloured by SYNOX pigments has been used with great success.

Note: Cement colour and the colour of local sand and aggregate will have an effect on the final colour of your project.  As an example the board above demonstrates the different mix colours obtained with various percentages of oxide used in off-white and grey cement.

If  final colour is critical to your application then  tests should be conducted using local sand and aggregate, plus any additional admixtures desired.

A full range of high quality colour pigments, including yellows, reds, blacks, oranges and browns is produced.  These pigments are available in more than two dozen primary colours and in hundreds of blends - the most popular of which are detailed on our colour chart for ease of specification.
